Malta

When I talk about my trip to Malta, most people assume it’s part of Italy. I always find myself pulling up a map and zooming way in to show them the tiny island nation floating in the Mediterranean between Sicily and North Africa. Despite its size, Malta has plenty to offer: turquoise seas, golden stone architechture accented with bright pops of colour, and a culture shaped by centuries of Mediterranean and British influences. Visiting felt like discovering a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to go back.
